DAY OF ACTION 2021

On April 29, 2021, the League of Women Voters of Lehigh County teamed up with Fair Districts PA to shine a light on redistricting reform and the drawing of fair districts in 2021. Rep. Schlossberg joined our gathering at the Liberty Bell Museum where we symbolically rang the replica Liberty Bell 22 times representing the number of the House Bill (22) which would enable the process to be more transparent and allow for citizen engagement. Following this event, we assembled at ArtsQuest in Bethlehem, PA to honor two local legislators, Sen. Boscola and Rep. Samuelson, who have been working on redistricting reform for over 15 years. FDPA and the LWV of Lehigh County gave each an award and a commendation.
