We are Joining with the America 250 PA Lehigh County to be part of the “entertainment” at the “Liberty Ignited: A Lehigh Valley Salute to America at 250”
Who: Members of LWV Lehigh County are encouraged to participate.
What: We will be dressing as suffragists. You will pick or be assigned a name. We ask that you research that person, dress as that person and be ready to share what you have learned with families attending the event. Maybe they’ll include you in their family portrait!
You can get outfits off Amazon or make them yourselves. You can carry a sign from that time. Pat Cameron has some “VOTES FOR WOMEN” sashes if you would like one. She is donating them but we are suggesting a free will donation to cover her supplies. On the sign up check if you would like one.
Where: Iron Pigs Stadium
When: We will be setting up at 4:30 PM on Friday July 3rd to 9:30 PM and you are invited to stay for the drone and fireworks show.
More Information about the event (and a link to buy extra tickets for your family – if you are participating you do not need a ticket) is here: https://thevalleyledger.com/?p=147958
